Circe Magazine is an Edmonton-based non-profit and submission-based, yearly print publication dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging creatives. Each issue features a diverse range of mediums, including photography, fine art, poetry, and music, providing a platform for artists to share their voices and connect with the community. I led the design of Issue Three, overseeing the editorial layout, creative direction, and production of this 100+ page magazine. For this issue, I designed a layout that thoughtfully presented each contributor’s work while weaving a cohesive story throughout the pages. By carefully curating the placement and flow of artworks, I ensured that the pieces interacted with one another, creating connections and adding layers of meaning for the reader. I also illustrated the magazine’s cover, continuing the feminine visuals that define Circe Magazine’s identity and setting the tone for the visual and narrative journey within.
